∞)Introduction
I am known as YouisYou, from Aries, Izuna from NWLO. I have been a Alchemist for 7 years, with vast experience In majority of the formula's, to the extend of understanding a rough idea on the success rates on them.
If wished upon, I'll be making a full encyclopedia on "How To's", feel free to PM/DM me for questions.
A)What Is Alchemy?
Alchemy Is a mechanic, that's flat out crafting/smithing, that utilizes RNG, as well as simple variables involving, multiple rules.
B)Principals of Alchemy
Every Item has a rank, from 0 to 50, this Is one of the most important variables In Alchemy.
(Item Level/2 = Rank)
Every Item has a main base, as well as potentially multiple sub bases, potentially making It a total of 5 bases.
(Conceptually, you can think of It like a sandwich)
To not confuse yourself, treat multiple bases as multiple individual Items instead.
The lowest ranked Item, will be the base rank, there Is no exception to this.
(Rank 17 + Rank 20 + Rank 17 = Rank 19)(+2)
(Final Result Item rank - lowest ranked Item = Rank jump)
Fundamentally speaking, the lower the rank jump the higher the success rate, there are no defined success rates, only speculation.
Take In account that, a negative rank jump counts as the same as a positive rank jump.
(A -3, has the same rates as a +3)
All 3 Alchemy skills, innately has a bonus rank jump by Itself:
How does books, affect rank jumps?
The highest, ranked Item will be the main base, If multiple items share the same rank, the item that's chosen first In order, will be the main base.
Alchemy Law
This does not affect primary alchemy, as the order of the Item Is the only determining factor.
C) Getting Alchemy
D)How to Train Alchemy?
For you to gain proficiency, the result has to jump rank, this means that the best way Is to utilize rank 1 Items.
Below are the well known methods, that are still working.
In Context, It'll take you 1 hour of extensive clicking to level from 1 to 10.
F)What next?
Congratulations, you've at the very least have a slight understanding on Alchemy, but where do I even get formulas to start?
Chances are, If you were to ask, you'll be forwarded to "wlodb.com".
You'll most likely chance upon the compound section, into finally utilizing the search button, from here you then realize that a SINGLE item has multiple formulas posted.
Heck even the bloody holy grail "COMMON STONE" has almost 8 1/2 pages worth of formulas.
The solution Is simple, utilize the Item section instead, of the compound section.

How does books, affect rank jumps?
- Alchemy book [number] - [Initial rank jump]
(Rank 25 + Rank 24 + Book 4) = (Rank 31) (31 - 24 = 7) - (4 = 3)
- Determining Main Base
The highest, ranked Item will be the main base, If multiple items share the same rank, the item that's chosen first In order, will be the main base.

{How does the above rank jump apply?}
"Highest ranked item = Main base"
(17 + 20 + 17) how does this apply then?
{17+17 = 34} 34>20
"Highest ranked item = Main base"
(17 + 20 + 17) how does this apply then?
{17+17 = 34} 34>20
