Le Monkey Quest Guide
Hello everyone! This guide will cover the quest to receive the monkey, death quest, stars, stats, use and benefits, Kawaii level, and theorys about the monkey. Stay tuned and enjoy!
First, we will start with who is the Monkey, and what is the stats of the Monkey? Also other pets that people use instead of the Monkey.
1. Keep in mind that the Monkey is your basic starter pet therefore it will have low base stats. Here is a photo showing a level 1 Monkey straight outta Starter Beach.
2. Most of the time, the Monkey is used as an saddle or a Tank Sealer. I personally use the Monkey as a saddle and below is my full washed Monkey. Important: Monkey can be OP in questing or PK with the "Wukong Build" (See at the bottom of thread for more info) but it will require the pet to be perfectly washed, PP12, and possibly fed while being equipped with amazing gear. Here is my personal Lvl 180 Monkey saddle that I nurtured. My baby is all grown up now!
3. Here is the Item Mall equipment that the monkey can wear and the Item Mall food that you will need to feed Monkey.
4. Monkey VS other saddle pets for SPD:
Secondly, we will go over how to obtain the Monkey, go over the death quest, and a theory I've read about the Monkey's RB.
Some requirement before starting the death quest: 2 Stars (Only if you want to do death quest), one empty pet slot in your group inventory, Five minutes, Monkey's amity can be anything, and some damn tissues because you going to cry!
1. Go to Starter Beach and click on the Monkey on tree to officially start you and your Monkey's life long friendship journey. (If you don't want to do the death quest You're done! You may skip step 2, 3, 4, 5, 6)

2. After getting the Monkey onto your team make sure to ride your Monkey because it will give you an idea if you like how your future saddle will look like then proceed towards Welling Village!
3. Once arrived to Welling Village proceed south east of the village which will lead you to a forest within the village and enter the portal. Once you load into the next area head towards the middle of the forest to the question mark to start your death quest.

4. Click on the mommy Monkey to start the death quest. A wizard with some guards will appear and he will send his guards to attack you after a dispute between you two and you wanting to defend the Monkey family. The wizard will turn your cute Monkey companion into an Alien Monkey and make you take part of a top 10 anime betrayal moment.
5. After finishing the fights your Monkey will stay with his family forever. Final step in order to get Le Monkey back, you must go to Holy Village and talk to Abba.
Note: You must had already done Abba's quest line to get Jalor Ship Design. Once speaking with Abba, he will give you a option to revive Monkey at the cost of two stars.
6. Finished!!! You got your best friend back! Just without his soul... so hes just a tool to you now hehe

Third, Theory and Fan Stories:
There is a Chinese player who made an amazing Redesigned Monkey Death Quest. Which I will link --> here <-- but here is a sneak peak of what the Monkey Reborn could had looked like.
Fourth, we will be judging the Monkey's Kawaii level
Monkey is super kawaii there is no better saddle than it, also when you pull up to help people in quest on Monkey's you will truly represent the Boosted Ape SQUAD. Look at this Monkey on the tree who would say no?
Lastly, my final conclusion thoughts about the Monkey in general and my personal opinion about the Monkey. Worth it or not Worth it?
In my opinion, the Monkey is NOT WORTH IT for an average player. But for who those people who got that $$$ and who doesn't care much about end result stats Monkey is worth it.
The reason why I think Monkey is not worth because the only method of washing it will be the free 14 pet lethe and buying pet lethe from other players or IM mall. Since you cant wash it using alts, you also cant use alts to EXP bolus it to Lvl 199, therefore you will have to leave it at Lvl 180. Another reason is since Monkey is a starter pet it has lowest base stats. Off the bat you are already in a disadvantage losing 20 SPD compared to a Water Flower, and 46 SPD compared to a Wind Leopard, or Holy Pegasus. The last reason is that Monkey is Earth pet therefore he will naturally build more CON than SPD and that can be be even more annoying to wash because he will require more Pet Lethe's overall compared to a Wind Pet.
On the other hand... The Monkey is a iconic pet for WLO Community because of that it's already worth getting a Lvl 180 Monkey. Monkey is awesome because it stands out while everyone rides Mystic Tigers, Holy Pegasus, Jumping Sharks you will be riding a cute little monkey, nothing can beat that!!! Also the Monkey is burstable! You will never have to worry about the training struggles (Trust me I know) with the Monkey, I'm gonna have to tell you to put your shadow pestles and -200T's away we wont need it for this Beast!!! Lastly, Monkey doesn't have to be built for saddle purposes he can be used as a Tank Sealer. All you have to do is build him "Wukong Build". Spam INT and CON so that he can seal mobs or players in PK.
Imagine tripping those JS, and DS dragons with a banana peel, what a joke they don't even have feet...
they probably lived for thousand's of years, grown to a huge scale, survived the apocalyptic and rebuilt earth with their amazing powers to spawn in and gets tripped by a puny Monkey who threw a banana peel onto their body. 
How Wukong Build Works:
INT = Higher rate of sealing, CON = Higher survivability, INT+CON? = Tank Sealer who trips everything in it's path PERIOD. KaBoom, Wukong Build, Waalaa. Who ever said Wukong was balanced? Riot pls nerf. Another benefit with this build is that you can use the Monkey as an INT saddle as well if you low key want. No one's gonna know hehe shh its our secret build. 
Me personally, I don't have a Wukong Monkey yet. But regarding my Lvl 180 Monkey Saddle, I don't mind losing 80-100 SPD stats riding a Lvl 180 Monkey compared to a Lvl 199 Holy Pegasus fully washed. I get to ride a frickin' monkey for my enjoyment. I also believe that gear matters more than level's for the most part. You'll be spending a lot of time and money to level and wash a Holy Pegasus either way. Bonus: You can feed the monkey if you want, but its a gamble because you cant choose pet food like in EWLO therefore its not worth to feed in NWLO.
