Hey guys, couple of things.
PLEASE DO NOT message me on discord asking me if you can pick up your reward. Please message me on the forum, with your discord name and hashtag, and your IGN. If I need to contact you through discord I will do it myself, just please do not send me messages and expect me to know who you are. People who send me discord messages from now on will be ignored (This does not include any moderators or forum staff who joined the event, since I know who they are)
I also unlocked the thread, and would love to hear any feedback if you guys have any. How can we improve on future events, and if you like this event and want to see more with similar rules and prizes.

Event Is fine, I think the main change I'll do Is for the last week, where instead of Post counts have It be Thread count.
Because of the Post requirement, there was so much spam on multiple threads that I personally find Isn't pleasant to look at, with thread count instead you can at the very least filter between [SPAM] n [Valid].
If you want to keep post requirement, set a limit to how much you can post a day or a word requirement, If not even both as someone who has literally been spammed Notified throughout, with mostly one-liners It's not very fun to look at.
I'm all for rewarding everyone, to draw In people to take a look out at the forum, but all this does Is hike up stats temporarily while bringing absolutely nothing else to the table, members who will invest time into the forum will continue to, but members who doesn't will never ever do It.
Regardless, I thank you for the Event, as per usual n hope this feedback does something.

With each event, you gain more experience and i would say you are doing a good job. There is no such thing as a perfect event as nothing else can be perfect. I express my gratitude to you for hosting this for us, the community.

I don't agree with the thread count. I'd rather them spam on posts instead of doing that on meaningless threads just for the counts. Maybe it's just me and my OCD with reading unread threads...  Actually, I think the new rules worked TOO well. Look at the results of the most recent lottery. There were two available numbers still on the board that nobody legitimately claimed. In time, though, more people will join the forum, be active, and participate in events like that. This forum is doing a pretty good job. Just my two cents. |
